The Butch Harmon School of Golf, located at Dubai Sports City, has recently achieved its goal of developing local talent, with the school’s top students winning a slew of high-profile UAE tournaments in recent months, it was revealed today.

Five students, who have improved their golfing game with coaching from Claude Harmon III and his team at The Butch Harmon School of Golf, have won in a number of monthly medals, club championships, and national tournaments.

The school provides its students with a unique coaching philosophy and advanced golf technology, making it a natural training base for some of the country’s top golfers.

“There is nothing better than seeing your students reach their desired goals when it comes to improving their golf game,” said Claude Harmon III, Director of Instruction, The Butch Harmon School of Golf.

“Our team works closely to provide a good balance between top coaching and physical training, while using advanced technology tailored to improve each student’s unique game,” added Harmon III.

Agnes Anwar, student of Claude Harmon III, won her division at the recent Ladies Creek Open. Anwar also works closely with the Butch Harmon School of Golf’s full time personal trainers and used Trackman to change her irons, which has resulted in far better performances.

“The whole package at The Butch Harmon School of Golf is amazing – from personal training to coaching. The whole team works very close together and the experienced coaches know golf inside out. At the school, I changed my irons and got my physical tests to help improve my game, and the results have been incredible,” said Agnes Anwar.

Emirati national Khalid Yousuf, coached by Justin Parsons,  recently won the UAE National Monthly Medal with a course record score of 64.

Malcolm Young,  coached by Justin Parsons, won the Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club UAEPGA Open with a score of 72. Young has also come in 2nd on the UAEPG Leaderboard after 12 events.
